“Let’s Talk Tactics”, a training and networking event
The American Hose Co #1 Tamaqua is sponsoring this event on Saturday Sep 12th. Doors open at 8AM and the training event will start at 9AM. This will take place at the Tamaqua Community Center 125 Pine St Tamaqua. At 1PM we will walk over to the American Hose Co for a networking event, which will include food and beverages. Chief James L “Jay” Jester will be presenting two leadership programs: “Leadership Lessons from Hollywood? YES!” and “Brand New Trumpets: A Survival Guide for the Newly Promoted Company Officer”.
James L. “Jay” Jester is a Volunteer Deputy Chief who serves on the Ocean City, MD, Fire Department as well as a retired Career Assistant Chief with the Salisbury, MD, Fire Department. He is an instructor for the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute (MFRI), who specializes in firefighter survival and the rescue technician disciplines. He also serves MFRI as a Regional Coordinator for the four Lower Shore counties of Maryland. Articles he has written have been published in numerous fire service periodicals, and he has lectured extensively for the Maryland State Firemen’s Association, FDIC International, and Firehouse Expo.
