The American Hose Co held its 135th Anniversary Banquet at the Hometown Fire Company this past Saturday May 4th. After a welcome by president Jay Hollenbach Jr and pledge of allegiance, Brian Connely welcomed our master of ceremonies Jerry Knowles. Jerry introduced the guests of the evening, officers, past officers and pensioned members and the invocation by Rev. Phyllis J Wolford of St John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church was read. A family style buffet was given by Agostis Catering, which was followed by our guest speaker County Commissioner George Halcovage. Brian Connely presented the awards this year and the Rev. Phyllis J. Wolford read the benediction.
An evening of entertainment was kicked off By MC Marc Juretus of Razr Inc. and a great performance by comedian Mr Ted “Theodore” Daniels. DJ Cool Breeze completed the night with music and a “Midnight Buffet” concluded the evening.
