Members from AHCO, Hometown, Ryan township, Mahanoy City, Frackville and Pottsville took part in a 16 hour class on Truck Company operations. This comprised of 8 hours lecture and 8 hours hands on, taught by Jason Novack and Denny Harris. The training consisted of an introduction level of ladder selection and placement, roof operations, forcible entry and search and rescue. The 8 hour hands on took place on Saturday June 27th during the rain at the Tamaqua Fire Company training grounds. The day concluded with crews running 2 scenarios of interior and exterior operations, managed by incident command.
