AHCO and East End, busy past few days

AHCO and East End Fire Co. have been busy the past few days with calls. Starting Friday night, units were dispatched along with Tamaqua EMS and Rescue to area of Sisters Restaurant for a motor vehicle accident. A second alarm for smoke detector activation was sent just after the MVA for 207 Pine st. Units responded and found a faulty smoke alarm. On Saturday afternoon, AHCO and East End were dispatched to 307 Rail Road for a smoke investigation. Driver by reported heavy smoke showing from the chimney and possibly eaves. Units arrived and found a faulty oil burner. Late Saturday night, units were dispatched to 207 Pine St for CO investigation. Units were shortly cleared.  Multiple county units have been dispatched over the weekend for chimney fires, oil burner malfunctions and CO investigations.
