2247: Citizens for an engine and Tamaqua Fire for Ladder 770, along with District 37, area of West Penn Pike and Sunny Road in West Penn Twp for reported house fire.
Crew at Citizens, Engine 782 responding. Chief 37 responding. PD on scene, reported working fire. Page updated to working fire.
AHCO crewed L770 and responded. C37 requesting tanker task force and additional engine from Tamaqua, East End dispatched. Updated address, 365 Mush Dahl Road. C771 on scene with E782 and set up on 309, L770 took position in driveway of residence. Heavy fire showing from multi-story single residence, multiple hand lines and large bore lines in use, as well as L770 flowing water. E782 assisted with manpower and drafting from portable ponds. E778 assisted with manpower. Most of fire knocked down by 0100 with crews performing overhaul to locate additional hotspots. L770 water tower used to penetrate roof openings.
By 0345, units started to break down, but remained on scene to assist Dist. 37.
