Chief 65-2 in route, update from county, resident from across the hall reporting smoke coming from other appt and occupant running out of room. E6511 on scene, E6512 responding updated to culinary incident. E6514 and E6513 in route under caution. L6520 remained in station.
Crews used smoke ejectors to clear the apartment, remained on scene for 30 minutes and were cleared.
