249 Rowe St, Working Structure Fire

0755: Tamaqua Fire, Rescue and EMS respond to 249 Rowe St for a working structure fire. Citizens and South Ward initially dispatched for a smoking kerosene heater. When crews arrived upgraded to working structure.

AHCO crews on E776, followed by L770 and E775. E776 took position on A side of structure, E775 took C side and L770 stood by near scene, limited access due to narrow street. Citizens and South Ward were on A side of structure and crews had initial knock down prior to other units arriving. Crews provided manpower for ventilation and overhaul.

AHCO crews were available within 45 minutes.
